Cotton woven labels are made from 100% cotton yarns?

No, typically, cotton woven labels are NOT 100% cotton. A complete cotton woven label usually contains only around 60% cotton yarn due to limitations imposed by machinery and processes.

A complete cotton woven label is usually woven from 3 different yarns. If all yarns were 100% cotton, the machine wouldn’t work.

Additionally, No fold(straight cut) it’s not the recommended folding way for cotton labels because cotton yarns lack thermal fusibility, leading to fraying after washing, as shown in the example below. We recommend end fold or center fold.
